Was suppose to write this weeks ago…
Thank you all for the donations of December. It was beyond a close call but we managed to pull through. Good to see that this site isn’t getting shut down just yet!
With extra donation funds, I typically take the opportunity to upgrade the server, especially with holiday deals (good timing). I was able to “add” an extra 3TB of storage space and a +30% improvement to general seeding upload speed. The server “shouldn’t” be running out of storage space any time soon.
I also changed domain. The other one looked like it was completely block from most search engines so hopefully this will work out better.
Changelog Summery:
- Changed domain (will hopefully improve non existing SEO)
- Added more seeding power + 3TB of extra storage space
- Fixed long time issue where the server would almost completely stop responding and become super slow every few days. (Been trying to figure that one out for months.)
- Made NoobFTP1 slightly faster (in general) when browsing through folders
- Improved the search function on NoobFTP1
